MORE ABOUT Let’s Go! Children’s Museum of Manhattan
¡Vámonos! Everybody, let’s go to the Dora the Explorer Exhibit in NYC! Take your Nick Jr.-loving toddlers to see Dora and Diego come to life at The Children’s Museum of Manhattan (a.k.a. CMOM). The Let’s Go! exhibit features adventures with Dora and Diego and combines fun and learning for children ages 2-6 years old.
Your little ones will join Diego at his Animal Rescue Center in the rainforest for a series of missions. They’ll explore a cave, a beach and the rainforest, or make animal footprint rubbings. They’ll even build a Spectacled Bear’s nest! Along the way, they’ll learn facts about animals and their habitats, as well as a little Español.
The Dora the Explorer activities begin with exciting Dora map adventures! Kids will drive Tico’s car, build the walls of Rainbow Bridge and jump across a lake. Once they arrive at Dora’s house they can play drums and pretend to cook Latin American foods. ¡Delicioso! Then your Nick Jr. fans get ready for a fiesta at Dora’s house.
These preschooler activities are specially designed to teach children problem-solving skills, develop math and language abilities, and gain a greater appreciation and awareness of Latin American culture.
This Manhattan children’s museum was the first venue in New York to have a permanent Dora and Diego installation. CMOM is a hands-on learning environment with five floors of fun in the Tisch Building on West 83rd Street in New York City, and it’s open Tuesday through Sunday.
